In case of emergencies or upcoming storms, our Center will follow the same procedures of the Public School District. We will also place messages announcing class cancellations and any related updates on the Center’s telephone voice message center as well as on our social media outlets. Parents and students are advices to stay informed.

THORRO LEARNING IS A YEAR-ROUND PROGRAM OF STUDY:
Daily study is an imperative part of Thorro Learning’s method and is highly encouraged in order to reap the program’s benefits. Thorro Learning projects are assigned 365 days per year. Parents may request to lessen or increase the daily workload to be done by the student over weekends and vacations.

HOME GRADING POLICY:
An important gauge of how your child grasps the concept is the timing of his assignments and the accuracy in which they are completed. This is also a requirement to move ahead in the Thorro Learning program. There are numerous advantages of grading the student’s work at home:
§ It allows your child to learn immediately from any mistakes by correcting them while fresh in mind
§ It encourages students to work harder knowing that work will be checked immediately
§ It helps you monitor your child's progress as it keeps you aware of their results
§ It helps the student reach their grade level quicker.
